The Cutting Board · Berlin MMXXVI
Each board is cut from a single plank of European beech — slow-grown, dense, and even in the grain.
We choose this wood for how it ages — a honey that deepens with the years, the grain pulling darker with every meal. No veneers. No glue lines. No edge-banding. What you receive is the board we cut from the tree.

Ø 22 mm, drilled at 14° to align with the grain. Chamfered on both sides, finished smooth enough to pass a linen thread through by hand.

Every edge breaks at 45° over 4 mm. Planed, then sanded to 400 grit. The board sits in the hand the way a stone sits in the palm — warm, weighted, honest.

Photographed on slate, morning light, unstyled. We trust the form to hold its own without a prop, a ribbon, or a bouquet of rosemary.

I.Sunday, 11:40. Sourdough from Domberger. Olive oil, Kalamata.

II.Studio still life. Slate, linen, one object.

III.Private kitchen, Pfefferberg. The board as a fixture, not a guest.
Each board is numbered and oiled before shipping. Ships in 5–7 working days.
